Gatehouse Veterinary Group, based in Bradford, are finally moving in to their purpose-built practice.
Gatehouse Vets has been there for pet owners in Bradford since 1983 and, Clinical Director, Terry Croud has been a familiar face since joining the business in 1994. Their Bingley branch has been able to offer consultations only up until now but, with the move into the new building, they are able to offer so much more.
There is a brand new X-ray room, a theatre, kennels, on-site lab and parking for clients and the building is just down the road from the other one.
Clients used to have to attend their appointments at the Bingley branch and, if their pet needed further treatment, travel by ambulance or car to the hospital – stressful for both animal and client. Any test that the team did used to have to be shipped off to be and could take a while to come back, while the client waited at home worrying. Tests can now be done on-site, giving clients a speedy return on their results. The move means much more convenience for clients and less stress for their pets.
Practice manager, Louise Marshall said,
“We are incredibly excited about the move. Being able to offer a much better, all-round service to our clients and their pets is just brilliant.”
Terry explained getting the new building hasn’t been an easy road,
“It’s been a long time coming. Finding a suitable building that offered everything we needed for our clients took a few years of searching. The team are very proud of our new practice.”
