I have been very satisfied with the staff and the care and understanding they give not only to the animals but to the owners as well. - Jean Ingham, Sid’s Ferret Welfare
Friendly and approachable, generous with their time on the telephone and reliably available when I need them...the ideal vet! - Katie Sharp
My dogs like Terry and treat the surgery as a social occasion because he is hands on with them. - Katie Sharp
We aim to cater for the needs of your feline pet and all our staff show a genuine love of cats. We have a separate cat waiting area and are working towards becoming a cat friendly practice.
We recognise that no two dogs are the same and from assistance dogs to family pets we can offer a service to meet their individual needs.
Small pets sometimes have to visit the vets for such things like vaccinations, health checks and when unfortunately they become ill and we aim to make their visit as stress free as possible.
We work very closely with the local ferret rescue and we have high levels of knowledge and expertise in dealing with these little characters.
Our vets have much knowledge and experience of dealing with a wide range of exotic pets and we offer hospital facilities.
We deal with all species of birds from clipping claws and husbandry advice to surgery and we are happy to treat your feathered friend.
Gatehouse Veterinary Group was established in 1983 by veterinary surgeon Simon Thomas. Eleven years later, Terry Croud joined the practice as a partner.
The practice now has branches in Allerton, Bingley and Haworth.
The Gatehouse Veterinary Group has three surgeries in West Yorkshire; Allerton, Bingley and Haworth.
Sadly, sometimes animals that come to the surgery need a new home. We always try our best to re-home them as we all feel putting to sleep fit, healthy, and loving pets is wrong. Check here if you think you can help.
moreOccasionally pets get lost or separated from their owners and are brought to the surgery. If you have lost a pet, check here for current information.
